Child of William Heron and Mary de Ford was: Sir William Heron b abt 1245, of Ford, Northumberland and Yorkshire, England, d Dec 1296. He md Christian de Notton abt 1268, daughter of Roger de Notton. She was b abt 1253. Sir Walter Heron b abt 1270, of Hedlestone, Northumberland, England. He md Alice de Emmeline Heron [a] b abt 1294, of Hedlestone, Northumberland, England. She md Sir John Darcy abt 1312, son of Sir Roger Darcy and Isabel d'Aton. NOTES: a. On 2 Mar 1347/48, John Darcy of Knaith released to William Heron, Knight, and Isabel, his wife, and to Margery late the wife of Roger Heron, Knight, all his right and claim in the manor of Ford, Northumberland. Complete Peerage does not specifically identify these Heron individuals, but they would appear to be siblings to Emmeline.
