Maud de la Mare [a] b abt 1252, of Ashtead, Surrey, England, d aft 1289. She md Sir Piers de Monfort abt 1266, son of Sir Piers de Montfort and Alice de Aldithley.


NOTES:
a. Long identified as Maud de la Mare, daughter of Matthew de la Mare, Douglas Richardson has recently rather conclusively proven not only that she was the daughter of Sir Henry de la Mare, but also that her mother was Joan de Neville.
